The Neptune pine smartwatch
In recent
smartwatch is common gadget for human being. The Neptune Pine is a smartwatch
running on Google’s open source Android system. It uses an Android 4.1 Jelly
Bean, which is one OS before Kit Kat. This Android OS is also commonly used in
smartphone devices as such as Samsung, Sony Ericsson or HTC. The Neptune Pine
Smart watch is designed to provide a friendly system to users. The Neptune Pine
is gargantuan and completely blurs the line between smartwatch and
wrist-mounted computer. However, there is definitely a market for such
all-encompassing wearable tech and the Pine just may knock Pebble out of its
early lead. Another unique feature of the Pine is that it is actually, itself,
a full fledged Android phone, thus obviating the need to keep a pocket-bound
smartphone in tow. Sporting a 1.2Ghz dual-core SnapDragon processor, 32GB of
memory, and a 5MP camera, the Neptune Pine is truly a stand-alone device thus
enabling the wearer to somewhat lighten the digital load. However, we are
anxious to find out whether the convenience and efficiency of having your
complete digital life right on your wrist outweighs the intrusive bulk one must
necessarily endure by donning a smartwatch of this magnitude.
The slim 2.4
inch TFT capacitive touchscreen has 320×240 QVGA resolutions. This watch compares to
devices like the Samsung Galaxy Gear (1.63-inch screen), Sony Smart Watch 2
(1.6-inch screen), or Pebble (1.26-inch screen). The Neptune Pine smartwatch
takes up more wrist real estate than the competition. The Neptune Pine is
designed to make texting, instant email, playing games, making and receiving
phone calls and browsing the web easy to do.The first
release of the Neptune Pine smartwatch is coming with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4
1.2GHz Dual-Core ARM Cortex-A5 processor. The Neptune Pine’s processor has more
than enough speed and power to easily switch between multiple apps and run 3D
visuals in graphics-intensive Android apps and games.Neptune pine
watches are built with a 5MP rear camera and VGA front-facing camera, each
packing built-in flash. Neptune Pine smartwatch can share your smile, via the front-facing
VGA camera, in a video chat and on the 2.4-inch full-color display. You can
quickly release your Pine smartwatch from the wrist strap and shoot crisp,
still images, or high-definition video. It works in any lighting because of the
LED flash.
There are
also three buttons on the side just like any other android device, one opens
the menu, the one in the middle is Home button, while the one at the bottom
takes you back to the previous menu. It’s speculated that voice control will
replace typing on most wearable gadgets in near future, still the big screen is
obviously a big perk. However, it kicks the watch a couple notches down when
considering attractiveness of the design. Another advantage of Neptune Pine
over most watches is that you can customize notifications i.e. they can ring,
vibrate or both.
